Effect of the Biomagnetic Health Mattress in a Double-Blind Tests
A Double-blind test was conducted
on 431 people, approximately one-half male and one-half female, 375 with magnetic mattress
pads and 56 with non-magnetic mattress pads. The magnetized mattress pad used 104
Biomagnets each. The following chart shows results for the various ailments treated at the
hospitals based on 99 percent confidence coefficient:

More than 70% of
the subjects realized effect within 5 days, 53.33% within 3 days, for a total effective
rate of 48.28% to 58.38%. The conclusion was that the Biomagnetic Mattress Pad proved to
be effective in a high percentage of cases and with no adverse side effects as measured
within the testing period.
In November 1997 a leading
Medical hospital in Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, conducted a Double-Blind Test by
a group of medical doctors. The Results were 75% of the people realized effective pain
relief for arthritis and post-polio pain.

Shimodaira, Tokyo Communications Hospital, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tokyo, Japan, 1990.
Three other studies of 400 subjects
were conducted in 1976 by professors Akio Yamada and Shuwichs-Hirose of the faculty of
Medicine, University of Tokyo, Professor Yamamoto, University Juntendo, Tokyo, and Kioshi
Kurmshima, Kohnodai National Hospital. Symptoms were for pain in the back, neck,
shoulders, arms, hands, legs. Effectiveness fell in the range of 60% to 80% with a time
frame of seven to fourteen days. No side-effects were detected. A double-blind study of 80
subjects to relieve lumbar pain was conducted by Dr. Yoshia Oay using belts with magnets
of 1500gauss. 50 subjects were given strong magnetic belts and 30 received placebos belts
or belts with 200gauss magnets. With full strength belts, almost all showed a very marked
improvement or marked improvement; wile with the weak magnets or placebos, none of the
subjects showed a very marked improvement and only 23% showed marked or minor improvement.
